In order to help new or recent entrepreneurs to acquire relevant knowledge to start or manage a SME, the “ Erasmus for young entrepreneurs ” makes or gives the possibility spending time in a business, ina a SME in another EU country, for less than 3 months, with an experienced host entrepreneur.
New or recent entrepreneur (NE) is anyone who are planning to create his own business or that already fulfils its for less than 3 years, in another hand the host entrepreneur (HE) is a possessor of an european SME or an experienced manager / director of an SME.
For this project it will be selected some organisations and companies that will receive the 50 young European entrepreneurs selected for each intermediary organisation (IO). The IO is an organisation or entities that already help and support the creation of favourable conditions that allow the creation of micro and small firms by means of the dynamization of entrepreneurship and business innovation (for example, associations of commerce, companies, etc.). This organisations will ensure the program's functionality and the link between new entrepreneurs (NE) and host entrepreneurs (HE).
Each NE selected might have access to a monetary help to support the expenses with the training abroad, will have the opportunity to contact with another business reality, or even build contacts for potencial partners or markets to invest. Also, to the HE is offered the opportunity to host a young entrepreneur, the access to information about another business reality and other market and even establish useful contacts to increase their business or activities.
The specific goals of the programme are:
On-the-job-training for new entrepreneurs in SMEs elsewhere in the EU in order to facilitate a successful start and development of their business ideas;
Exchanges of experience and information between entrepreneurs on obstacles and challenges to starting up and developing their businesses;
To enhance market access and identification of potential partners for new and established businesses in other EU countries;
Networking by building on knowledge and experience from other European countries between entrepreneurs.
